Box 388 • Stockton, CA 95201-0388 <br /> �4GiFb Ri+�P <br /> 209/468-3420 <br /> April 18, 1995 <br /> PUBLIC NOTICE <br /> NOTICE OF FINDINGS REGARDING <br /> SITE MITIGATION PLAN <br /> NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a corrective action plan for remediation of an <br /> underground storage tank site located at 2575 Country Club Blvd. in Stockton has been <br /> reviewed by San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division <br /> (PHS/EHD). The plan is a proposal for the excavation of soil which was contaminated due <br /> to unauthorized releases associated with underground storage tanks (UST) which were <br /> located on the property. In order to minimize possible impact to the surrounding air quality, <br /> Shell Oil Company has initiated vapor extraction interim remediation. <br /> PHS/EHD, Local UST Oversight Program, has made a determination that the plan is in <br /> compliance with local, State and Federal laws and regulations and that the resultant work <br /> will not create significant adverse environmental impacts which exceed the benefits to be <br /> gained from cleanup of the contamination. <br /> The corrective action plan is available for public review at the PHS/EHD, 445 N. San <br /> Joaquin Street, Stockton, California, during normal working hours, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. <br /> Final Approval for the plan is scheduled for April 26, 1995.
