C A M B R A <br /> o Separate phase product was not present in Well RW-1A this quarter <br /> o Ground water samples collected from deep monitoring Wells MW-12 through MW-14 did <br /> not contain detectable levels of TPPH, benzene, MTBE or other fuel oxygenates <br /> • Ground water samples collected from the Caltrans irrigation well and the 5 domestic wells <br /> did not contain detectable levels of TPPH, benzene, MTBE or other fuel oxygenates, <br /> with the exception of the Warman Well located at 2468 Country Club Boulevard (CCB) <br /> Ground water samples from this well contained 8,100 ppb TPPH and 5 0 ppb MTBE (by <br /> EPA Method 8260) These data are summarized on Table 2 <br /> Quarterly Sampling <br /> Ground water samples were analyzed for Total Purgeable Petroleum Hydrocarbons quantitated <br /> as gasoline (TPPH) according to EPA Method 8015 (Modified), and benzene, toluene, <br /> ethylbenzene, and xylenes (BTEX), and methyl-tertiary-butyl-ether (MTBE) according to <br /> EPA Method 8020, and oxygenate compounds according to EPA Method 8260 and EPA <br /> 8015 (Modified) Additionally, a duplicate sample and an equipment blank were prepared and <br /> analyzed for quality control purposes The equipment blank contained 2 2 ppb MTBE this <br /> quarter <br /> Field monitoring data and chemical analytical data are summarized in Tables I and 2 <br /> Blaine's ground water monitoring report is presented in Appendix A <br /> Ground Water Extraction <br /> Ground water was extracted from Well RW-lA this quarter to reduce petroleum hydrocarbon <br /> and fuel oxygenate concentrations on-site Approximately 4,500 gallons of ground water <br /> was extracted from this well on August 12, 1998 utilizing a vacuum truck to extract the <br /> ground water The extracted ground water was transported to the Martinez Refining <br /> Oakland CA Company in Martinez, California where it was recycled <br /> Sonoma CA <br /> Portland OR <br /> Seattle WA Conclusions <br /> Cambria <br /> Environmental The petroleum hydrocarbon and MTBE concentrations in ground water samples collected <br /> Technology, Inc from the shallow wells this quarter are within the historical norm for this site Petroleum <br /> 0 70 Perkins Street hydrocarbons and fuel oxygenates were not detected in the deep monitoring wells this quarter <br /> P 0 BOX 259 Ground water samples from the Caltrans irrigation well and the private water wells did not <br /> Sonoma CA 95476 <br /> Tel(7o7)935-4B5o <br /> Fax(7o7)935-6649 <br /> 240-0783 2 <br />
