Mike Infuma EH
From: Scott Bittinger[sbittinger@stratusinc.net]
Sent: Wednesday, May 16, 2007 3:51 PM
To: Mike Infurna[EH]
Subject: RE: Grout inspections,2705 Country Club Boulevard
Mike:
The City actually approved work at 5 locations off of the gas station property, and
USA/Palisades provided the City with bonds for 5 offsite wells. This was in the original
encroachment application to the city, was approved by the city, and the permit was
approved with no changes from the application materials. The permit that you have is
unchanged.
Although MW-15 and MW-16 are to be installed in the sidewalk or dirt area adjacent to
Country Club Boulevard, Cal Trans maintains a right-of-way for the I-5 overpass in this
area. Alan Dudding and Cal Trans discussed the work area locations. Stratus and Cal
Trans exchanged maps showing the proposed drilling locations and the right-of-way
locations. It was determined that these 2 wells will be within the Cal-Trans right-of-way
for the I-5 overpass.
I'm not certain if the City of Stockton should have accepted the well bonds for MW-15 and
MW-16 or not, but they are in place. USA/Palisades will provide Cal Trans with additional
bonds for these wells when the Cal Trans permit is obtained. Both agencies should be
satisfied if they both maintain well bonds. Regardless of whether MW-15 and MW-16 ended
up in the Cal Trans right-of way, we still needed City of Stockton permission to complete
MW-15 and MW-16, because the traffic control needed for these wells extends beyond the Cal
Trans right-of-way.
Hope this sheds some light on the situation. E-mail or call with questions.
Scott
-----Original Message-----
From: Mike Infurna [EH] [mailto:MInfurna@sjcehd.com]
Sent: Wednesday, May 16, 2007 7:46 AM
To: Scott Bittinger
Subject: RE: Grout inspections, 2705 Country Club Boulevard
If there has been a REVISED or NEW City permit issued, I'll need a copy please.
I'm still not 100% clear exactly what wells the City 'understands'
you'll be installing.
Make it clear for me Scott.
-----Original Message-----
From: Scott Bittinger [mailto:sbittinger@stratusinc.net]
Sent: Wednesday, May 16, 2007 9:44 AM
To: Mike Infurna [EH]
Subject: RE: Grout inspections, 2705 Country Club Boulevard
The e-mail time stamp must still be on standard time, not daylight savings time.
Sorry that this permit situation became so complicated. Just wanted to make sure that we
were good to go for next week.
Scott B.
-----Original Message-----
1
