if you send ONE LARGE check be advised if I can't issue ALL permits due to some
problem, then I can't issue ANY.. I recommend you send a check with each application if
i possible. I have very limited time in the office with s00000 many well destructions.
working on four applies at a time is quite time consuming. not always possible for me.
but one at a time, here and there is the best.
mike
From: Scott Bittinger[mailto:sbittinger@stratusinc.net]
Sent: Wednesday, September 14, 20114:03 PM
To: Mike Infurna [EH]
Subject: 2705 Country Club Boulevard
Mike:
I just wanted to give you an update regarding the project.
Chuck Miller of Palisades/USA has given us the go-ahead for destroying all of the wells at this site.
A few days ago, encroachment permit applications were submitted to Cal Trans and the City of
Stockton. Once approved, well destruction permit applications will be sent to your attention.
have attached a table showing the well construction details for the site and the method of
destruction that we are proposing. Essentially, the shallow wells that are impacted are proposed for
overdrilling, and the shallow wells that are clean are proposed for pressure grouting. All lower zone
wells (historically clean, but sampling discontinued for last event)are proposed for pressure
grouting.
When you get a chance, please take a look at this& let me know if our plan of attack is acceptable
to you. We'll use this information to bid the job out&select a contractor.
Before implementing the project, will you need a formal work plan, or is simply designating the
methodology(ie pressure grout vs.overdrill)sufficient for you?
Scott Bittinger
9/15/2011
