Conducted quarterly groundwater monitoring and sampling on August 15, 2011, and generated the <br /> quarterly report. <br /> 2. Conducted periodic oxygen injection into onsite wells. <br /> WORK PROPOSED FOR NEXT QUARTER[Fourth—2011] <br /> 1. Perform quarterly monitoring and sampling during fourth quarter 2011, and prepare the quarterly <br /> report. <br /> 2. Continue oxygen injection on a biweekly basis. <br /> 3. Generate site closure evaluation report for submittal to the SJCEHD. <br /> DISCUSSION <br /> The site is a 7-Eleven convenience store and gas station (Figures 1 and 2). 'Underground storage <br /> tanks (USTs) at the site were replaced in July 1998. Monitoring and sampling has been conducted <br /> at the site since the third quarter of 1999. The current groundwater monitoring and sampling data <br /> are summarized in Table 1, and presented on Figures 2 and 3. Historical groundwater monitoring <br /> and sampling results are summarized in Table 2. The well completion details are summarized in <br /> Table 3. An active USA Gasoline(former Exxon) service station is located east of the site. <br /> I <br /> Current Site Information <br /> Current Phase of Project: Groundwater Monitoring and <br /> Remediation <br /> Frequency of Monitoring and Sampling: Quarterly, Eight wells- MW-1 through <br /> MW-8 <br /> Are Liquid Phase Hydrocarbons Present On-site: No <br /> Water Supply Wells within a 2,000-foot radius and 11 domestic wells in various <br /> their Respective Direction: directions; nearest is 400 feet north- <br /> northwest. <br /> Current Remediation Techniques: Oxygen injection_ <br /> 14117 11-3Q Report.doc <br />
