Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and have the potential to cause foodborne illness.All major violations must be corrected immediately.Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br /> the food facility. <br /> #23 Rodents, Insects or Animals Inside Facility <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Observed numerous dead cockroaches in the kitchen cabinets and underneath equipment. Observed 1 <br /> live adult cockroach in the cabinet next to the 3 dr reach in freezer. <br /> Remove all vermin today and implement pest control. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Each food facility shall be kept free of vermin:rodents(rats,mice), cockroaches,flies.(114259.1, 114259.4, <br /> 114259.5) <br /> #29 Toxic Substances Properly Identified/Stored/Used <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Observed a can of Raid next to the water heater. Discontinue use today and only use commercial or <br /> restaurant grade pest control. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:All poisonous substances, detergents, bleaches, and cleaning compounds shall be stored separate from food, <br /> utensils,packing material and food-contact surfaces.
