BELIEVES THERE <br /> IS CROSS CONTAMINATION GOING ON WITH THE MEAT AND WHERE IT IS COOKED. <br /> VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br /> 113700.All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and have the potential to cause foodborne illness.All major violations must be corrected immediately.Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br /> the food facility. <br /> OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br /> FOOD ITEM--LOCATION--TEMP°F--COMMENTS <br /> No Temperature Data Collected <br /> NOTES <br /> Upon arrival, I spoke with owner who stated having no knowledge of a complaint or customer getting ill from their chicken. <br /> Owner stated that the vendors who sell BBQ chicken outside of the store operate under their facility permit but the vendors <br /> are currently not on site due to the seasonal changes. Owner stated that chicken is only cooked on the BBQ grill,the meat is <br /> prepared inside of the carniceria and is bought from R&S Golden Poultry Company.This chicken is purchased different from <br /> the carniceria already located on site due to the person leasing the carniceria deciding to obtain their meat from a different <br /> source.The meat is also stored in the walk-in of the store, not inside of the walk in of the carniceria due to fears of <br /> mishandling among the different meats and to avoid cross-contamination.The walk in cooler where the meat is stored is <br /> tempted at 41 F.
