LATE REVISIONS—11 MAY 2001 <br /> UNCONTESTED WASTE DISCHARGE REQUIREMENTS <br /> Item 20d Pilkington North America,Inc., Pilkington Glass Furnace Facility, San <br /> Joaquin County <br /> Waste Discharge Requirements <br /> Page 1 Finding No. 1 and No. 3, change: <br /> "Libby-Owens-Ford"to "Libbey Owens Ford." <br /> Page 2 Finding No. 8, add the following sentence at the end: <br /> "A basin test performed on 17April 2001 indicated the approximate <br /> process water flow rate is 575,000 gallons per day (gpd)." <br /> Page 2 Finding No. 11,revise the second sentence to read: <br /> "The wash water is treated through a reverse osmosis (RO) system..." <br /> Page 2 Finding No. 13, revise the second sentence to read: <br /> "Reverse Osffiesis (RO)water is used in the..." <br /> Page 3 After Finding No. 23, add a new Finding No. 24 and renumber the <br /> remaining Findings: <br /> "A second water balance was submitted on 24 April 2001 which included <br /> all the potentially available land application area (75.4 acres). That <br /> water balance demonstrated the capacity to dispose of approximately 1.7 <br /> million gpd. Because the land application areas require improvements, <br /> technical reports documenting preparation of the land areas for the <br /> application of wastewater are required prior to increasing allowable flow <br /> rates." <br /> Page 4 Finding No. 28,revise the first sentence to read: <br /> "The lawn application area is irrigated with wastewater daily t• a to 44ree <br /> times per , year round." <br /> Page 5 Finding No. 32, add the following sentence at the end: <br /> "The Discharger may add chlorine to the storage pond to control algae <br /> growth. Adding chlorine results in additional wastewater and <br /> groundwater monitoring requirements." <br /> Page 5 Finding No. 34, revise the third sentence to read: <br /> "... have been identified at the J.R.
