LATE REVISIONS—11 MAY 2001 UNCONTESTED WASTE DISCHARGE REQUIREMENTS Item 20d Pilkington North America,Inc., Pilkington Glass Furnace Facility, San Joaquin County Waste Discharge Requirements Page 1 Finding No. 1 and No. 3, change: "Libby-Owens-Ford"to "Libbey Owens Ford." Page 2 Finding No. 8, add the following sentence at the end: "A basin test performed on 17April 2001 indicated the approximate process water flow rate is 575,000 gallons per day (gpd)." Page 2 Finding No. 11,revise the second sentence to read: "The wash water is treated through a reverse osmosis (RO) system..." Page 2 Finding No. 13, revise the second sentence to read: "Reverse Osffiesis (RO)water is used in the..." Page 3 After Finding No. 23, add a new Finding No. 24 and renumber the remaining Findings: "A second water balance was submitted on 24 April 2001 which included all the potentially available land application area (75.4 acres). That water balance demonstrated the capacity to dispose of approximately 1.7 million gpd. Because the land application areas require improvements, technical reports documenting preparation of the land areas for the application of wastewater are required prior to increasing allowable flow rates." Page 4 Finding No. 28,revise the first sentence to read: "The lawn application area is irrigated with wastewater daily t• a to 44ree times per , year round." Page 5 Finding No. 32, add the following sentence at the end: "The Discharger may add chlorine to the storage pond to control algae growth. Adding chlorine results in additional wastewater and groundwater monitoring requirements." Page 5 Finding No. 34, revise the third sentence to read: "... have been identified at the J.R.
