Ms. Carol Oz of San Joaquin County, in a phone
meeting dated February 1, 1999,required this Inforrnation.
Asdescribed in the .December 10, 1998 report of soil investigation, the extent of soil
impacted with diesel range petroleum hydrocarbons released from a former diesel tank was
investigated. Three boreholes were drilled to a depth of 41.5 feet below ground surface:
These boreholes were located near the 'former diesel tank removed on October- 15, 1998, on
the;northwest side of the property. Refer to Figure 2: Site Map for well locations, One
borehole was drilled near the north end of the former tank, :a second approximately 15 feet
north of the former tank and the third approximately 15 feet south of the former tank.
The sample test results demonstrated that only shallow vadose zone contamination of diesel
existed and that the contamination had not reached groundwater.
1.
