This scope of work is presented in response to a telephone conversation <br /> on March 20, 1997 with the San Joaquin County Public Health Services(SJCPHS) requesting a <br /> comprehensive soil and groundwater assessment at the site. The work scope includes collection of <br /> background information,the drilling and sampling of four soil borings,installation of monitoring wells in the <br /> borings, collection of groundwater samples from the monitoring wells, liquid level gauging of monitoring <br /> wells, determination of location and construction of any water supply wells within 2,000 feet of the site, and <br /> preparation of an assessment report summarizing the methods and results of the work performed. Details <br /> of the scope of work are described below. <br /> TASK 1: SITE-SPECIFIC HEALTH AND SAFETY PLAN/PERMITTING <br /> l <br /> A site-specific Health and Safety Plan has been prepared by Fluor Daniel GTI as required by the <br /> Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Standard "Hazardous Waste Operations and <br /> Emergency Response"guidelines (29 CFR 1910.120).
