Weber Street, 3rd Floor <br /> Stockton, CA 95202 <br /> Subject: Addendum to Summary Report for Subsurface Investigation, Interim Remediation <br /> and Corrective Action Plan at the D'Arcy Parkway Road Extension Site, Lathrop, <br /> California <br /> Dear Mr. Sasson: <br /> In.response-to your correspondence dated April 27, 1999, ATC Associates Inc. , on behalf of <br /> AEW Capital Management has prepared this addendum to the corrective action plan and <br /> workplan• included in our Summry Report for Subsurface Investigation, Interim Reinediation <br /> and Corrective Action Plan dated April 22, 1998. The purpose of this addendum to the workplan <br /> is to perform post remedial monitoring of groundwater at the site and include a contingency for <br /> 'the abatement of contamination should the post remedial monitoring wells indicate the need for <br /> additional remedial action, This work is being performed at the direction bf San Joaquin County <br /> Public Health Services, Environmental Health'Department (PHSIEHD). The an <br /> work will <br /> include obtaiitiing permits, advancing three soil borings and completing the borings as monitoring <br /> wells,'performing•post remedial groundwater sampling and monitoring, and preparing.a summary <br /> report. The scope of work is described in detail in the following paragraphs. <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> Pla"am.ikidlPannits <br /> Updn Winpletiori of remedial activities, if PHS/EM determines that post-remedial monitoring <br /> necessary, ATC will complete a well permit application for the advancement of three soil borings <br /> ,to;be completed as groundwater monitoring wells. The permit application, asso'Wed fees, and a <br /> site plan showing proposed well locations and construction details of the road 'extension the will <br /> be,submitted to PHS/EM for review and approval.
