(Ground Zero) has prepared this report on behalf of North Stockton <br /> Auto Service to summarize subsurface investigation activities conducted at the subject property and <br /> to present a workplan for interim remediation of contaminated soil. The location of the site is <br /> shown on Figure 1. <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> 1.1 Purpose <br /> The purpose of the investigation was to define the vertical and lateral extent of soil contamination <br /> and to determine if groundwater has been impacted by an unauthorized release of waste oil from the <br /> underground storage tank(UST),!formerly located at the facility. ' <br /> 1.2 Resources <br /> Sean Garvey, a Ground Zero' geologist, directed fieldwork on September 11, 2000. Fisch <br /> Environmental (Fisch), a State licensed drilling company `(C-57-683685), performed drilling <br /> services. Argon Laboratories, Inc.
