Following the receipt of analytical results the <br /> contaminated soil will be removed to an appropriate landfill for disposal. Based upon knowledge'of <br /> contaminant concentrations is it expected that the excavated soil will be transported to the Class II <br /> Forward Landfill. <br /> Following the completion of excavation and sampling, the pit will be backfilled with pea gravel to <br /> grade. Fieldwork will be conducted in accordance with the site-specific Health and Safety Plan and <br /> Quality Control/Quality Assurance Plan on file with PHS/BHD. <br /> Following the completion 'of excavation a technical report will be submitted detailing the <br /> methodology and results of the remedial actions. <br /> 1 <br /> 8.0 CERTIFICATION <br /> Signature of this report certifies that Ground Zero's professional services have been performed, our <br /> findings obtained, and our conclusions prepared in accordance with customary principles and <br /> practices in the fields of environmental science and engineering. No hazardous wastes were. <br /> generated as a result of the investigation. No waste from this investigation remains on site. The <br /> analytical laboratory will ultimately dispose of collected soil and water samples. <br /> This investigation was performed under the direct supervision of Gregory P. Stahl, who has <br /> reviewed and approved this report.
