CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES AND ASSUMPTIONS ► The proposed scope of work and cost estimate of$26,1.45 are based on collection of two soil samples from the 1.,000 gallon UST excavation for laboratory analysis. ► Adequate work space and access will be provided for the excavator to remove the soil from the former tank location. If the backhoe equipment cannot be positioned, alternative backhoe locations or sampling methods should be investigated. The excavator has the capability of reaching depths to 25 feet below the surrounding grade. If soil needs to be removed below this depth alternative excavation methods should be considered. ► Samples will be collected and analyzed to assess if soil affected by organic compounds or metals remains in the excavation bottom. If concentrations are detected above the County's action levels, the SJCEHD may request additional excavation of affected soil beyond the scope of this proposal.
