The
water level in groundwater monitoring well MW9 was 52.54 feet below the top of the well
casing elevation representing a groundwater elevation of -30.98 feet. A summary of
F
groundwater monitoring data is presented in Table 1.
4.0 SUBSURFACE INVESTIGATION RESULTS
4_1 Groundwater Analytical Results
F. Hexavalent chromium was detected in groundwater sample collected from well MW9. The
concentration of hexavalent chromium was reported at 0.0049 mg/l.
The reported concentration from well MW9 was well below the California Primary Maximum
Contaminant Level (MCL) for total chromium of 0.05 mg/l. Hexavalent chromium does not
have an established MCL or Action Level.
F:, Total chromium was detected in groundwater in the sample from well MW9. The concentration
of total chromium was reported at 0.0081 mg/l. The reported concentration from well MW9 was
well below the California Primary Maximum Contaminant Level {MCL} for total chromium of
0.05 mg/l.
Total hardness and turbidity were reported at 130 mg/1 and 120 NTU, respectively, in the
F groundwater sample collected from well MW9. Dissolved oxygen was measured in the field at
2.64 mg/l.
FThe groundwater analytical results are summarized in Table 2 and groundwater general
parameters are summarized in Table 3. Copies of laboratory analytical results are contained in
Appendix C.
5.0 FACILITY WELL LOG
Fj On May 2, 2003, video well logging was performed to evaluate the condition and construction
details of the on site facility well. The video logging was completed by Don Pedro Pump. A
downhole submersible video camera was lowered into the well from a boom extending from the
subcontractor's truck. A continuous video of the well was recorded from top of the casing to the
bottom of the well boring. The details of the facility well were observed as follows.
w:lwordpro162583Veportsldeep well inst.doc 5
Fr
