Based upon DTSC's review
of this report, I spoke with Michael Hurd and informed him that additional metals in soil
data would be needed for the Surland Homes Property site. I also relayed this
information to Mr. Peter Lee Higgins (SAIC) by electronic mail on October 3, 2007. 1
have left voice mail messages with Mr. Michael Hurd requesting the sample data from
the October 2007 field work, as recently as March 13, 2008, and have received no
response. Please provide a response within 30 days of receipt of this letter whether you
want to proceed with the VCA or terminate the VCA. If, after the 30 day time period
passes, no response is received, DTSC will send a VCA termination letter to your
attention and subsequently request DTSC's Accounting Unit to finalize billing.
If you have any questions on any of the information provided above, please contact me
at (916) 255-3744 or by email at ilile a(dtsc.ca.aov.
Sincerely,
6
Jer Lile
Project Manager
® Printed on Recycled Paper
