Work Plan Addendum .- September 1998
-PAIGE'S TOWING
1807 Douglas Road, Stockton,California .
1.0. INTRODUCTION
At the request of Mr:Bill Watkins of Paige's Towing,Advanced GeoEnvironinental,Inc.-(AGE)has
prepared this Work Plan Addendum for the installation of ground water monitoring wells at 1807
Douglas Road (the'site), Stockton, California. The location of the site is illustrated in Figure 1. A
plan of the site is illustrated on Figure 2.
This.Work Plan Addendum is prepared as required by a San Joaquin County Public Health Services
-Environmental Health Division(PHS-EHD) letter dated 06 August 1998. Additionally;this-work
plan addendum is .prepared in accordance with PHS-EHD and Central Valley Regional Water
Quality Control Board (RWQCB) guidelines for the investigation of underground-storage tanks
(UST) sites.
The purpose of this site assessment is to evaluate the lateral and vertical extent of petroleum
hydrocarbon impacts to soil and groundwater at the site.This Work Plan Addendum provide: a
description of the scope of work and procedures to be used for'soil boring:advancement; it
installation and soil/groundwater sample collection and analysis.
Background information and a description of prior investigations at the site was included ;n AGE's
Preliminary Investigation.And Evaluation Report, dated 20 February 1996.
2.0. SCOPE OF WORK
Based upon results of the initial investigation performed by AGE in January of 1996, the PHS-EHD
is requiring additional.investigation to determine the lateral and vertical extent of hydrocarbon-
impacted soil and_ground water. Initially, AGE proposes to drill, install and sample four ground
water monitoring wells.at the site. However, additional monitoring wells maybe required :to
adequately define the-lateral_and vertical extent of hydrocarbon-impacted soil and/or ground water.
The investigation-will consist of the following tasks:
• Permitting and pre-field work activities; .
• Soil sample collection and analysis; F
• Monitoring well completion;
• Monitoring well development and survey;
• Ground water sample collection and analysis;
Advanced GeoEnviremnental,Inc.
