Work Plan Addendum .- September 1998 <br /> -PAIGE'S TOWING <br /> 1807 Douglas Road, Stockton,California . <br /> 1.0. INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr:Bill Watkins of Paige's Towing,Advanced GeoEnvironinental,Inc.-(AGE)has <br /> prepared this Work Plan Addendum for the installation of ground water monitoring wells at 1807 <br /> Douglas Road (the'site), Stockton, California. The location of the site is illustrated in Figure 1. A <br /> plan of the site is illustrated on Figure 2. <br /> This.Work Plan Addendum is prepared as required by a San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> -Environmental Health Division(PHS-EHD) letter dated 06 August 1998. Additionally;this-work <br /> plan addendum is .prepared in accordance with PHS-EHD and Central Valley Regional Water <br /> Quality Control Board (RWQCB) guidelines for the investigation of underground-storage tanks <br /> (UST) sites. <br /> The purpose of this site assessment is to evaluate the lateral and vertical extent of petroleum <br /> hydrocarbon impacts to soil and groundwater at the site.This Work Plan Addendum provide: a <br /> description of the scope of work and procedures to be used for'soil boring:advancement; it <br /> installation and soil/groundwater sample collection and analysis. <br /> Background information and a description of prior investigations at the site was included ;n AGE's <br /> Preliminary Investigation.And Evaluation Report, dated 20 February 1996. <br /> 2.0. SCOPE OF WORK <br /> Based upon results of the initial investigation performed by AGE in January of 1996, the PHS-EHD <br /> is requiring additional.investigation to determine the lateral and vertical extent of hydrocarbon- <br /> impacted soil and_ground water. Initially, AGE proposes to drill, install and sample four ground <br /> water monitoring wells.at the site. However, additional monitoring wells maybe required :to <br /> adequately define the-lateral_and vertical extent of hydrocarbon-impacted soil and/or ground water. <br /> The investigation-will consist of the following tasks: <br /> • Permitting and pre-field work activities; . <br /> • Soil sample collection and analysis; F <br /> • Monitoring well completion; <br /> • Monitoring well development and survey; <br /> • Ground water sample collection and analysis; <br /> Advanced GeoEnviremnental,Inc. <br />
