(May 16 and 17, 2006)
24 bags (471b each)of Portland Cement Type 1-11-V (Brand: RMC Pacific Materials).
2.5 to 2.75 gallons of water per bag - Drillers Ratio
About 4% bentonite powder was added to the grout(Observation: the bentonite powder seemed to gel the mix
and it increased the viscosity)
I "eyeballed"the water tank while the crew was mixing the grout and noted approximately 70 gallons of water was
used for mixing grout. That comes out to about 2.9 gallons of water per bag, so my observations were close to,
and confirmed, the drillers mixing ratio.
Eric L.
