Title 23, Division 3, Chapter 16
Section 2652. This quarterly report summarizes activities for the third quarter of 2011,
and outlines the next proposed sampling and analysis event.
3rd Quarter 2011 Activities
No sampling and analysis of groundwater monitoring wells took place during the third
quarter of 2011, per correspondence prepared by San Joaquin County Environmental
Health Department (SJCEHD) dated July 21, 2009, which directed semi-annual sampling
(second and fourth quarters) and annual sampling (fourth quarter) of monitoring wells on
site.
GTI has requested that GWM be reduced to annually in the second quarter until the Fund
is able to provide more money in the current fiscal year. As noted below, if
implementation of the Phase I Remedial Action begins in 4'h Quarter 2011, it may not be
financially feasible to do any groundwater monitoring in the current fiscal year.
Proposed 4th Quarter 2011 Activities
It is anticipated that Phase I of the Remedial Action hnplennentation Plan will proceed
during the 4th quarter of 2011 following SJCEHD approval. Phase 1 implementation will
be dependent on the utilization of the $10,000 that was allocated for the 2011/2012 fiscal
I of 2
