PHS/EHD has the following comments for your consideration. <br /> All monitoring wells on-site have detectable concentrations of petroleum contamination. During the last <br /> monitoring event, April 9, 1992, free product was measured in MWI. Please schedule the next quarterly <br /> sampling event by July 9, 1992. During the next quarterly sampling event, also include sampling of the on <br /> site domestic well and analysis for BTXE and TPH-gasoline. If free product remains in MWI, be prepared <br /> to submit an interim plan to initiate free product removal. <br /> Please submit well logs for the in-use domestic well which was installed in 1987 as well as for the domestic <br /> well which was destroyed in 1987. Additionally, please provide details regarding the method used in 1987 <br /> to destroy the former domestic well. <br /> The work plan which was requested in the PHS/EHD letter dated January 21, 1992, should be submitted <br /> by June 30, 1992. A due date extension has been granted for the period between April 15, 1992 and June <br /> 30, 1992 to allow for the bidding process. This work plan is necessary to continue investigation of the <br /> groundwater contamination and to proceed with soil remediation.
