The soil borings performed under <br /> the 1, 000 ,gallon unleaded gasoline tank at the above :; referenced <br /> facility indicates the presence of petroleum hydrocarbons in the <br /> soil beneath the tank . M <br /> f <br /> Due to the presence of contamination, the San Joaquin Local <br /> Health District cannot approve the closure in place of this <br /> underground storage tank until a site assessment has ; been <br /> performed to identify the vertical and horizontal extent of <br /> contamination. <br /> A preliminary site assessment shall be submitted to this office <br /> by a qualified consultant within 45 days of the date, of this <br /> letter .
