Meays, This letter provides a status report for the referenced project. As you know, we completed the soil vapor extraction/grrourtdwater extraction/sparge test last week. f' believe that Margaret Lagorio visited aux' field team near the middle to the end of the testing cycle. . Reports from the field are quite positive. The groundwater extraction portion of the test lasted about 20 hours, and generated a good deal'of information. Drawdown was observed in most wells at a sustained flow rate of about five gallons per minute. The combined and individual soil vapor extraction tests also went well, as did the sparge test. Water from the pump test was stored on-site in a Baker Lank. The water will be pumped out either today or tomorrow by Clearwater Environmental Management (no relation), and the tank itself will hopefully be gone by the weekend. It will be about two weeks until all the lata and field data is in. I anticipate that it will take about three weeks from initial data compilation to produce the report of testing. As I mentioned in an earlier,letter, the results of the.last quarterly sampling will, be presented in this report as well: Accordingly, I anticipate the report to be ready for release.i,n early February. Pursuant to previous discussion, the report will be a combination PAR/CAP. It is my understanding that this report will be utilized by Mrs. Ruiz or her agents as a bidding document for the solicitation of proposals. to implement the next phase of activity at this site.
