4491 Durham Ferry
Page 4
The correspondence included several references to the numerous telephone calls which
your consultant made on your behalf. Please be informed that PHS/EHD has always and
will continue to strive to provide timely regulatory oversight for the investigation and
cleanup of contaminated sites. The volume of_calls which were received bordered on
harassment and present an unacceptable method of communication.
Summary
PHS/EHD questions the necessity to modify the proposed feasibility testing. Since the
primary rational for the proposed modification was based on the performance of a
recovery well which was not developed, new data collected after development will be
necessary to evaluate any proposed modification.
If you have any questions or wish to schedule a meeting to discuss PHS/EHD's concerns,
please contact Mary Meays at (209) 468-0337.
Donna Heran, RENS, Director
Environmental Health Division
Mary Meays, Senior REHS Diane M.
