As we indicated, there are a number of items <br /> that we should probably talk about early on in this final task of site characterization, <br /> but.I am in ,agreement with you that for the time being we need to focus all our <br /> efforts towards meeting'your April 14 report submittal deadline. <br /> I have contacted Eddie Mitchell of Mitchell Drilling in order to establish his <br /> schedule and make arrangements -for the installation of the air sparge and <br /> groundwater.extraction wells. He conveyed the fact-that he is very busy, but with a <br /> little creativity should be able to accommodate our timeframe. The day listed below <br /> i$ the only day Eddie'is able to work for us until early April. His flexibility is <br /> appreciated. It should also be noted that Eddie is one of only a few contractors who <br /> would consider working with a delayed compensation schedule such as the one we <br /> have established at the Ruiz site. <br /> Time constraints and deadlines considered, the following presents a schedule that I <br /> believe will enable the delivery of the items required within the window of time <br /> allowed. <br /> 1) Site visit, markout of potential extraction and sparge well locations. Fri. 3/3 <br /> 2) Collection of first quarter, 1995 groundwater samples Mon. 3/6 <br /> 3) Submittal of workplan for well installation/quarterly report Wed. 3/15 <br /> 4) Installation of proposed wells Sat.3/18 <br /> 5) Completion of pumping/sparging/vapor extraction tests 3/22-3/24 <br /> 6) Submittal of PAR and CAP 41.74 <br /> As you are aware, field situations occasionally force inodifications to est blxshed <br /> schedules.
