CLEARWATER <br /> Ertviru rnn,nmi srrr rccs <br /> guidelines and Clearwater's Field Protocols Soil samples will be screened for the presence of petroleum hydrocarbon <br /> vapors with a Thermo 580B photo-ionizing OVM detector <br /> Soil samples retained for laboratory analysis will be capped with teflon lined plastic caps labeled documented on a chain- <br /> ot-custody form and placed on ice in a cooler for transport to the project laboratory <br /> Upon completion of all drilling and sampling activities the borings will be backfilled with grout or other approved <br /> methods, in accordance with local and state regulations <br /> Sampling equipment and drill-rods will be cleaned between use to pre,,ent cross-contamination The equipment will be <br /> cleaned with an Alconox wash followed by a double rinse in clean tap water Sampler and dnll-rod rinseate will be stored <br /> on-site in a labeled 55-gallon drum pending disposal <br /> 3 3 Analvtical Methods <br /> It is assumed that a total of nine soil sample will be retained for laboratory analysis This samples "ill include those <br /> collected from the 10 and 15 foot depth interval from all bonnszs and also the 5-foot sample from boring CB-2 located in <br /> the area of the former dispenser island These samples will be analyzed for concentrations of TPHg BTEX and MTBE <br /> by EPA Methods 8015 (modified) and 8020 All sample analyses will be performed by Entech Analytical Labs, Inc a <br /> DHS-certified laboratory located in Sunnyvale,CA The proposed analvtical schedule is summarized below <br /> Boring i Depth (feet) Anahte <br /> CB-1 10 15 TPH4 BTEX MTBE <br /> CB-2 5 10 15 TPHe BTEX MTBE <br /> CB-3 10 15 TPH!z BTEX MTBE <br /> CB--+ i 10 15 TPHs BTEC MTBE <br /> Notes <br /> TPH-.
