We have not found any indications that samples were collected
during well construction. As we have discussed the soil sample results may be helpful in
addressing vadose-zone characterization ori the western perimeter of the site.
{
According to our information, water testing results of wells MW-4 and 5 indicates that'well
11. MW-4 was sampled once on 9125187 before it went dry("ND" for gas/BTEX), and MW-5 was
sampled twice (trace BTEX 9/25187 and "NQ" TPH and BTEX 11125{87}. Please, if you
have any information on laboratory analysis of soil samples from these borings, call me at
(916) 979-1950, or FAX at 979-9459. We thunk you in advance for your assistance in this
matter. IK
h
Sincerely, -h
II
Mark A. Richards, R.G.
Senior Geologist
/mar i `°
