(Teichert) Mobile Equipment <br /> Facility, 103 North E Street, Stockton, California <br /> Dear Ms. Turkatte: <br /> EMCON Associates is submitting this permit application for drilling three exploratory soil <br /> borings and converting two ,of the borings into ground-water monitoring wells at the <br /> .Teichert Mobile Equipment Facility., 103 North. E Street, -Stockton, California. Attached <br /> are a well permit application and:a check for$89. <br /> EMCON's May 1992 Work Plan for Soil Remediation and Ground-water <br /> Characterization includes drilling and installing one :,ground-water monitoring well <br /> southwest- of the :former tank complex to assess the southern extent of ground-water <br /> impact. At the request of.Teichert, two additional soil boringswill be drilled at -the site: <br /> one in the vicinity of soil boring ..1371, and one near the ,'pump island. The soil boring <br /> drilled near the pump island will be sealed to the surface, and the boring near boring B-1 <br /> will be converted to a ground-water,monitoring well.-Drawing 1, attached, shows the sal <br /> boring locations.
