Teichert will start excavation of the contaminated soils
at this facility on September 14, 1987..
The San Joaquin County Air Tollution District has issued a
k
permit to aerate the soil on site.
The basic plan is to excavate all contaminated soil to a
depth at or near the water table. If contaminated soil' is found j
to extend under the building slab to the south, a vent system
will be installed along the face of that area.
Excavated soils will be aerated on site, tested and re-
turned to the hole when the TPH drops to a sufficiently low level . ,
If there are any questions, please don' t hesitate to call .
S 'ncerely,
James Elder
JE:bh
cc : Rob Lindeman, A.
