Analytical results of soil samples collected from the excavations and the stockpiled s0if did not detect any total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH) as diesel or benzene, toluene, x e e, or ethyl benzene (STX&E). Neither TPH or STX&E was detected in a water sample coftecifed from the bottom of the tank excavation. A summary of analytical results is included as Table 1. CONCLUSIONS Based on the findings of this investigation, all diesel contaminated soils associated with the former diesel underground storage tank have been removed and replaced with clean soils. Ground water encountered at 4 roximately 13.8feet beto�vgrade was found to contain non- detectable concentrations df TAH a0d bk)(&E. Previous soil and g ot}r►d water contamination encountered on the site:was likely the result of asphalt debris present in the fill material used to construct the building pad.
