A" Page 1 of 1
Mike Infurna [EH]
From : Mike Infurna [EH]
Sent: Monday, January 14, 2008 10:07 AM
To: TPRegion@aol .com'
Subject: RE: Ltr of 10/25/07
Attachments: 11530 Eight Mile CML 10-25-07 Scanned_.pdf, 11530 Eight mile GT status 1 -14-08
Scanned_.pdf
here you go. .two attachments. one is the letter, the other is a print out of Geotracker submittals as of TODAY.
Note last submittal for a report for Second Quarter 2007 .
I'll need to speak with Sherri as soon as she has had time to evaluate this letter. The State Water Resources
Control Board (SWRCB) Clean Up Fund (CUF) is the agency that reimburses underground storage tank (UST)
sites for investigation and clean up activities required/directed by my agency, SJCEHD.
I've been contacted by the CUF to verify that ALL of the bolded items in this letter/attachment have been complied
with . If not, the CUF considers the site/responsible party to NOT be in compliance, and as such , ineligible to
recieve reimbursement.
of the THREE bolded items in the letter, the first has been completed (albeit late) and unfortunately the drill just
started today and has not met the Nov 7, 2007 deadline. This can be overlooked hopefully since it's happening
now.
But the last item requires the report for the work starting today to be ON GEOTRACKER by Jan 30th . It doesn't
look good to meet this date.
I STRONGLY suggest that Sheri get in touch with ATC Consulting and ENSURE the following:
1 - ALL quarterly reports, lab data, maps, DTW, and work plans are UPLOADED immediately to Geotracker. THe
CUF has access to this database and will check to see it's all there. As of this morning, the latest submittal is for
2nd QMR-2007. NO 3rd or 4th QMR for 2007 has been submitted . a problem .
2- have ATC submit a 'request to extend report due date" to me ASAP. I recommend the date of availability on
Geotracker (due date) to be within 60-days from the last date of drilling now just starting. After I approve this ,
you'll be in better standing .
After Sheri and I speak, I may be able to disuade the Clean Up Fund from witholding reimbursement since I will
be re-assured(?) the two items above are being handled . . . . .maybe. . .
From: TPRegion@aol.com [mailto:TPRegion@aol.com]
Sent: Monday, January 14, 2008 9 :43 AM
To: Mike Infurna [EH]
Subject: Ltr of 10/25/07
Please attach referenced letter.
Thank you .
Start the year off right. Easy ways to sta in shape in the new year.
1 /15/2008
