To date , <br /> 17 monitoring wells have been installed and monitored regularly . <br /> Remediation Summary <br /> • Free Product : No free product was documented throughout the life of this case <br /> • Soil Excavation : An estimated 40 cubic yards of impacted soil was removed and <br /> disposed offsite in 1989 <br /> • In-Situ Soil Remediation : No soil remediation noted <br /> • Groundwater Remediation : Ozone injection pilot test, conducted February through <br /> July 2011 <br /> General Site Conditions <br /> Geology and Hydrogeology : The Site is underlain by interbedded and intermixed sand , <br /> silt, clay and peat. The depth to groundwater varies seasonally between 1 and 18 feet <br /> bgs and the groundwater gradient is east and northeast at approximately 0 . 04 ft/ft. The <br /> closest surface water is the San Joaquin Delta located immediately adjacent to the Site. <br /> • Groundwater Trends : There are more than ten years of groundwater monitoring data for <br /> this Site .
