(AGE) has scheduled additional soil and ground water investigation at the referenced site. <br /> The additional investigation will include the advancement and sampling soil borings for the <br /> collection of soil and grab ground water samples. The work was summarized in the Work Plan <br /> Additional Ground Water Investigation, dated 07 May 2001 and prepared by Condor Earth <br /> Technologies (CET). Several of the soil borings proposed will be advanced on the neighboring <br /> property; Herman& Helen's Marina has obtained an access agreement for borings on the adjacent <br /> property. <br /> In addition to the work proposed in the 07 May 2001 work plan, AGE is proposing the advancement <br /> of two additional borings near the former underground storage tank (UST) excavation. A map <br /> showing the additional proposed boring locations is attached. The additional borings will be <br /> advanced to first-encountered ground water; soil and ground water samples will be collected from <br /> each of the two borings. Selected samples will be transported to.a DHS-certified laboratory for <br /> analysis in accordance with the 07 May 2001 Work Plan. <br /> AGE has submitted two boring permits to the San Joaquin County Public Health Services - <br /> Environmental Health Division(PHS-EHD) for approval. <br /> Field work is scheduled to commence on 27 December 2001 and continue through 28 December <br /> 2001, pending permit approval from the PHS-EHD.
