Additional Site Assessment Work Plan - Revised August 2003 <br /> HERMAN & HELEN'S MARINA <br /> 15135 Eight Mile Road, Stockton, California <br /> 1.0. INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr. Andrew Smith of Herman &Helen's Marina,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, <br /> Inc. (AGE) has prepared this revised work plan for 15135 Eight Mile Road, Stockton, California. <br /> The original AGE-prepared Additional Site Assessment Work Plan was prepared in response to the <br /> Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board's (CVRWQCB) directive, in a letter dated <br /> 21 April 2003,to continue the delineation of the lateral and vertical extent of hydrocarbon-impacted <br /> soil and groundwater and to determine the source of elevated concentrations of petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons in soil and groundwater near MW-6; this revised work plan includes concerns <br /> expressed by the C VRWQCB to the original work plan,in a letter dated 16 July 2003(Appendix A). <br /> The site and the surrounding area are illustrated in Figure 1. Structures and monitoring well and <br /> sampling locations are illustrated on Figure 2.This work plan provides a description of the scope of <br /> work and procedures for the advancement of soil probe borings st the site. <br /> 2.0. BACKGROUND <br /> Site background information is provided in Appendix B.Additional information can be found in the <br /> AGE-prepared documents Additional Soil and Ground Water Investigation Report dated 11 April <br /> 2003 and Quarterly Report-First Quarter 2003 dated 29 April 2003. <br /> 3.0. SCOPE OF WORK <br /> AGE proposes to advance four soil probe borings in the area of monitoring well MW-6 and the <br /> northern portion of the site to assess impacted soil and ground water.
