QUARTWY GROUNDWATER MONITORINGtPORT <br />' FIRST QUARTER, 1998 <br /> Herman & Helen's Marina <br /> Venice Island Ferry <br /> Stockton, CA <br />' San Joaquin County <br /> Prepared by <br />' [ONDOR EARTH TECHNOLOGIES, INC <br /> April 16, 1998 <br /> I <br /> 1 INTRODUCTION <br /> On March 27, 1998, Condor Earth Technologies, Inc (Condor) conducted quarterly groundwater monitoring at <br /> IHerman & Helen's Manna located at Venice Island Ferry in Stocton, California (Figures 1 and 2, Appendix A) <br /> The work described in this report was conducted in accordance with sampling procedures included in Woik Plan - <br /> Monitor Well Installation, dated May 30, 1997, prepared by Condor The work plan was approved by Mr Ronald <br /> Rowe of the San Joaquin County Public Health Services/Environmental health Department (PHS/EIID) on July 8, <br /> 1997 The first quarter, 1998, monitoring described in this report is the second quarterly groundwater monitoring <br /> event to be conducted at the site This report was prepared at the request of Mr David Smith of Herman & <br /> Helen's Manna <br /> Laboratory analysis of the samples collected from the monitor wells included benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene and <br /> total xylenes (BTEX), total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as gasoline (TPH-G), selected gasoline <br /> oxygenates/additives, and selected parameters for evaluating the potential for intrinsic bioremediation Field <br /> analysis of the samples collected from the monitor wells also included selected intrinsic bioremediation <br /> parameters This report includes a site history, a summary of the current monitoring event (including a descnption <br /> of the sampling and results of laboratory analyses), a summary of the intnnsic bioremediation parameter data, and <br /> Isummary/conclusions <br /> 2. SITE BACKGROUND <br /> On October 30, 1991, Warren E Gomes Excavating, Inc , of Rio Vista, California, excavated and removed three <br /> underground storage tanks (USTs) from the site (Figure 2, Appendix A) The USTs (TK1, TK2, and TK3) <br /> contained gasoline and diesel fuel A small hole was found on the lower fill end of TK3 (diesel tank) Petroleum <br /> staining and odors were noted in the soil beneath the former locations of the USTs Six soil samples were <br /> t� CONDOR <br />
