UPRR Diesel Pipeline Closure. <br /> Dear Charles, <br /> Pursuant to your previous correspondence concerning the closure of <br /> UPRR's Diesel pipeline I am providing the information you requested as outlined <br /> below. <br /> 1 ,2. . Permits for the soil gas survey and soil borings with the appropriate fees <br /> are enclosed. - <br /> 3. All borings will be sealed with bentonite pellets. <br /> 4. Tracer Research will complete their contractors file. <br /> 5. Drilling contractor is Precision Sampling Inc. which should have <br /> completed its contractor file. <br /> 6. USPCI's contractor file information is inclosed. <br /> 7. "Authorization to Release" is enclosed. <br /> 8. The laboratory will be Coast to Coast, Benecia, CA. <br /> 9. The pipeline will be rinsed by pumping water from the terminal end of <br /> the line to the yard. The rinsate will be stored in tanks currently in place <br /> at the waste water treatment plant at the yard and will be treated at that <br /> plant.
