As you may have seen, I have <br /> forwarded a letter to your office requesting that Shell Oil <br /> Co. be named an additional responsible party for this site. <br /> Unfortunately, because of on-going negotiations between <br /> the parties and the City of Stockton regarding possible <br /> financing for assessment and remediation of the site, we will <br /> not be meeting the February 1 , 1991 deadline for submission <br /> of the Final Remediation Plan and Work Plan. I am somewhat <br /> embarrassed by this fact following our expression to you of <br /> the urgency of this matter.
