Versar - MCLaren/Hart <br /> South (1) former Standard gasoline station located on the southwest corner of East <br /> Weber Avenue and North El Dorado Street, (2) former Print Shop located on the <br /> south side of East Weber Avenue in the block bordered by North Center Street <br /> and North El Dorado Street, and (3) former fertilizer company located west of <br /> the former Print Shop <br /> East Former Goodyear Tire and Auto Repair facility (currently the Glass Outlet) <br /> located on the southeast comer of North El Dorado Street and East Channel <br /> Street <br /> West Arco gasoline station located west of North Center Street and north of the <br /> Stockton Channel <br /> 42 Recommendations <br /> Versar-McLaren/Hart recommends that the following investigations be completed prior to <br /> redevelopment of the Site <br /> • In order to determine if the properties of concern surrounding the Site on the north, east, <br /> and south have impacted the Site, a limited subsurface investigation along the Site's <br /> northern, eastern, and southern boundaries should be conducted to determine if off site <br /> sources have impacted the Site This should consist of drilling exploratory boreholes on <br /> the north, south, and east Site boundaries, for the purpose of collecting soil samples <br /> Three of the boreholes, one on each boundary mentioned above, should be extended to <br /> groundwater to facilitate the collection of groundwater grab samples Soil samples and <br /> groundwater grab samples should be analyzed for volatile organic compounds (VOCs), <br /> pesticides, and CAM-17 metals One of the existing groundwater monitoring wells in the <br /> northeast portion of the Site should be sampled and submitted for analysis for VOCs, <br /> pesticides, and CAM-17 metals <br /> Prior to the demolition of the building and the two pump island overhangs at the Site, an <br /> asbestos and lead-based paint survey will be required to determine proper removal and <br /> disposal of the building materials <br /> -13- <br />
