Nuel
and I also believe installing the two proposed monitoring wells to the north is appropriate.
Nuel Henderson has reviewed the analytical data from the CPT-4 boring and the groundwater analytical
data collected from MW-1; Nuel and I believe the petroleum hydrocarbon plume has not been defined to
the west of MW-1. Although AGE reported that groundwater was inferred to be flowing toward the
east/northeast/southeast in Hydrologic Units 1 and 2,.analytical results for groundwater collected from
CPT-4 do not demonstrate that the plume has been defined-up-gradient of MW-1.
I do plan to draft a letter and will address these issues in my letter.
Please let me know whenever there is a sampling event at this site. I was not informed of the sampling
event in February 2010.
Please let me know if you need any additional information for your meeting tomorrow.
Vicki McCartney,Senior REHS
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
600 East Main Street
Stockton,California 95202
Phone:. This was the conclusion when the Additional Site
Assessment Work Plan (dated 19 July 2005) was prepared. That is why we did not
propose a well towards the west in that work plan. We proposed three wells to the north
across the street by.CPT-3 in each HU'zone. However, after reviewing the data we think
wells screened from 60-65 feet and 110-120 feet are necessary across the street.
Thanks,
Brian
Brian W.Millman
California Professional Geologist#874
Advanced GeoEnVironmental, Inc.
Stockton• Santa ltosa • :Monterey •.Brea
1-800-51.1-9300
1-209-467-1118 (fax)
1-209-482-8556 (mobile)
bmillman cuadvgeoenv.com
www.advgeoenv.com
3/22/2010
