Den .'Ueda of Den's Auto Repair, 4&,,anced <br /> GeoEnviro;unental. Inc. "AGE) proposes the installation of three ground water monitorin;-3 wells <br /> ved work plan for the site at 308_South El Dorado Street in Stock-ion,Stock-ion,under procedures in the appro <br /> California. <br /> The results of the linnited"subsurface investigation of 23 June 1997, indicated that hydrocarbon <br /> impacted ground water Was present at the site. Ground Nvater beneath the former UST location ,vas <br /> impacted with total petroleum h.ydrocar ons q;.antif;ed as gasoline, benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene <br /> and xylene(BTL='&X). Additie;.ally the l..Vater sninples'contained methyl tertiary butyl ether(MTBt ). <br /> The investigation also indicted that impacted soil was .thnited to'a.-depth of 35 feet and the lateral <br /> area surrounding the former l?ST tank excavation: <br /> Three wells will be installed z.t the site to determine the lateral extent of the gasoline; BTE&X and <br /> MTBE plume in the up pradient and do,,vn �radicnt directions. The attached site plan indicates the <br /> proposed locations of the three wells. Also attached:.is the draft results of the preliminary 'site <br /> investigation. <br /> The borings will be advanced to a depth of appro'i.mately 45 feet. The well design will utilizing '?, <br /> feet of perforated screen and 20 feet.of blank two-inch blank casing,'to alI:ow for an adequate,water <br /> interface over the course of the site investigation. Each new monitoring well will .be developed <br /> utilizing a submersible p UMP until water is essentially sediment free. Quarter sampling will then be <br /> scheduled with your office.
