The site and the
surrounding area are illustrated in Figure 1. Structures, soil borings, and well locations are
illustrated in Figure 2. This work plan was prepared in accordance with Central Valley
Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) guidelines for the investigation of
underground storage tank (UST) sites and in accordance with the San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department (SJCEHD) Standards For Well Construction and
Destruction. Additionally, the work plan was prepared as directed by SJCEHD letter dated
29 March 2013. Historical site background information is summarized in the AGE-prepared,
No Further Action Required Report, dated 17 December 2012.
INTRODUCTION
A total of thirteen (13)groundwater monitoring wells (MW-1A/B, MW-2A/B, MW-3A/B, and
MW-4 through MW-10), have been installed on-site and off-site (MW-8, MW-9, and
MW-10) as part of the subsurface investigation of the former UST area at 308 South EI
Dorap Street, Stockton, California. Wells MW-1A/B, MW-2A/B, MW-3A/B were installed
as 2-inch diameter, nested monitoring wells utilizing 10-inch diameter augers; wells MW-4
through MW-10 were installed as 2-inch diameter, single-completed monitoring wells
utilizing 8-inch diameter augers. Well construction details are summarized in Table 1.
Based on the most recentanalytical data collected at the site, AGE proposes to over-drill
wells MW-1A/B, MW-2A/ , MW-3A/B, MW-41MW-7, and MW-8-and destroy wells MW-5,
837 Shaw Road • Stockton, CA 95215
Telephone (209)467-1006 • Fax (209)467-1 1 18
