Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure Plan <br /> Tesla Treatment Facility <br /> • Name of the facility, owner/operator and facility location. <br /> • Maximum storage or handling capacity and normal daily throughput. <br /> • Corrective actions taken including equipment repairs and replacements. <br /> • Description of facility, including maps, flow diagrams, and topographical maps. <br /> • Cause of the discharge(s) to navigable waters and adjoining shorelines, including a failure <br /> analysis of the system and subsystem in which the failure occurred. <br /> • Additional preventive measures taken or contemplated to minimize possibility of recurrence. <br /> • Other pertinent information requested by the Regional Administrator. <br /> Cleanup Contractors and Equipment Suppliers <br /> In the unlikely event of a spill or discharge of oil migrates outside secondary containment, facility <br /> operators will attempt to isolate the oil by using sorbents and other spill control materials stored at <br /> the facility and intended to stop or absorb the oil. Depending on the size of the contained spill, <br /> facility operators will either clean up the spill using sorbent materials maintained onsite,or contact <br /> the San Francisco Department of Public Health (SFDPH) to request assistance. Following the <br /> emergency,the Chief Stationary Engineer shall ensure that all emergency equipment is restocked <br /> or replaced and/or available for use. <br />
