No labels for containers of hazardous waste. One black 55 gallon drum of used oil; one white <br /> plastic 55 gallon drum, one metal 55 gallon drum, and one 5 gallon drums of unknown liquid had no <br /> hazardous waste labeling. Generators who accumulate hazardous waste on site shall label containers <br /> as follows: words "Hazardous Waste", generator's name & address, contents, physical state, <br /> hazardous property and an accumulation start date. <br /> • Correct on-site. All containers were properly labeled with the Hazardous Label sticker provided <br /> # 23. Drained used oil filter were missing an initial start accumulation date. Drained used oil filters can <br /> be stored on-site for no longer than one year of initial start accumulation date. <br /> • Drained used oil filters were marked with date of 05/2009. <br /> # 30. Four empty drum of hazardous material or waste. Within one year of being empty, drums must be <br /> managed properly. <br /> • Corrected on-site. Labeled "Empty" with date of it being empty. <br /> • Fluorescent tubes are being removed from office. Ballast is also being changed. Per Scott, <br /> electrician will determine if ballast or fluorescent tubes are a waste. Once determine if a waste, <br /> items must be labeled as "Universal Waste — Mercury containing equipment" for the ballast and <br /> "Universal Waste —fluorescent tubes" along with initial date of accumulation. Retain disposal <br /> receipt of universal waste on-site for a minimum of 3 years. Provide Small Business Hazardous <br /> Waste Consolidate Facility brochure on disposal of Universal Waste fluorescent tubes. <br /> • Provided facility SJC EHD 2010 free training courses <br /> • Provided HW labeling instructions for containers <br /> ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY T_01BOED AT IL ILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE($11 5). <br /> THIS FACILITY IS S BJECT TO EINSPE TI T S CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br /> EHD Inspector:THUY TRA tl T' e <br />
