Weber Avenue, Third Floor
Stockton, CA 95202
Dear Ms. Briggs:
Per your request, this letter will serve to inform you of our compliance with the proper handle of hazardous
materials. The items listed below are a reflection of your official inspection report:
15. An oil absorbent sweeper was purchased and in use (see enclosed receipt).
19. All hazardous waste will be shipped off site by American Valley Waste Oil
every 90 days (see enclosed).
20. Various labels were purchased and applied to all containers with hazardous
waste (see enclosed).
21. Employees were informed (safety meeting) of all containers with hazardous
waste will remain closed unless when adding or removing waste. Failure to
comply will result in strict rule.
32. Located various used oil receipts, however, former dispatcher did not retain
all receipts. This practice has been established.
33. Could not locate bills of lading for 1997-1999 due to former dispatcher not
retaining records. Will start immediately.
43. A contingency plan has been established with the use of the handout that was
provided by your office. Also, Gary Carr, Shop Manager, and I will be
attending a certification seminar on hazardous materials table, shipping
documentation, packaging & marking, labeling, placarding, loading & storage
and emergency response (see enclosed).
49. A personnel training binder was established for proper tracking.
75. I left the owner of the building a message on 2/4/00 to verify if underground
storage tanks exist. I will contact you with a follow up answer. -0
ILsincerely hope that this will suffice all non-compliant issues.
