I
Chevron/South El Dorado 6
September 1990
borings indicated that the intervals sampled were not impacted' by
petroleum hydrocarbons.' Following installation, the wells were
surveyed'ito an established City of Stockton-.benchmark, monitored
for groundwater elevation, developed and sampled for laboratory. .
analysis: Laboratory results ,indicate that, the groundwater
beneath the site has been impacted by gasoline hydrocarbons. The
highest concentration of TPH-as-gasoline in the groundwater
samples analyzed was reported at 1, 500 parts per billion (ppb) .
A measured concentration of 1 ppm TOG was obtained from the
groundwater sample collected from the well (MW-1) adjacent to the
former waste-oil tank.
SCOPE OF WORK
Based on the information gathered to date, Groundwater
Technology proposes the following additional work:
o Locate and drill three soil borings on site, and one
soil boring off site. These four borings will be
converted to monitoring wells and developed using
surge-and=bail method.
o Monitor the newly installed and existing wells for .
depth ,to groundwater.;
o Sample the newly installed and existing wells for
laboratory analyses for the presence_ of petroleum
hydrocarbons.
o Coordinate disposal of generated soil cuttings, rinsate
water, and purge water:.
GROUNDWATER-
TECHNOLOGY, INC.
