Chevron/South El Dorado 7 <br /> September 1990 <br /> o Conduct a survey of all existing water wells located <br /> within a one-half-mile radius of the site. <br /> o Perform a historical review of adjacent properties <br /> including records research and aerial photograph <br /> review. <br /> o Prepare a report documenting the results of the <br /> additional assessment activities. <br /> WORK STEPS <br /> MONITORIiG WELL INSTALLATION <br /> Four soil bbrings will be drilled for the installation of <br /> monitoring wells. The locations of the four proposed monitoring <br /> wells are presented on Figure 2 . One of the proposed monitoring <br /> wells (MW-4) will -be off site to the east of the main tank pit, <br /> in the median -of South El Dorado Street. This monitoring well is <br /> upgradient of the site and of existing monitoring well MW-3 . The <br /> second proposed monitoring well`- MW-5 will be located to the north <br /> of existing MW-3 , and east of existing MW-1. It is positioned to <br /> detect cross-gradient influences from the north, and is <br /> upgradient from :the former waste-oil underground storage tank <br /> pit. The third monitoring well (MW-6) will be located to .the <br /> south of the main tank, and is 'located to place a limit on the <br /> southernmost extent of the dissolved hydrocarbon plume beneath <br /> the site, The fourth proposed monitoring. well (MW-7) will be in <br /> the northeast corner of the site, downgradi•ent from the_ former <br /> underground storage tank locations. <br /> GROUNDWATER <br /> TECHNOLOGY, INC. <br /> r <br />
