's activities performed at the former Chevron <br /> �. Service Station No. 9-0342, located at 1374 South El Dorado <br /> Street in Stockton (Figure 1) . This report documents the <br /> implementation of Groundwater Technolcgy's.Work Plan (November, <br /> 1989) approved by the San Joaquin County Health Services <br /> � Department (SJCHSD) . The work performed included soil excavation <br /> and aeration of excavated soils, remediation of soils conLair_ing <br /> hydrocarbons, as well as the backfilling of the .axcavations with <br /> ,_. the on-site aerated soils. This report also describes the <br /> i� installation of three monitoring wells on site, and the <br /> collection and analyses of soil and groundwater sample:.. <br /> l� BACKGROUND <br /> SITE SETTING <br /> The former Chevron Service Station No. 9-0342 is located at, <br /> the northwest corner of the intersection of South E1 Dorado.. ' <br /> Street and Charter Way in the City of Stockton, California <br /> (Ficxare 2) . The site is situated in an area. consisting of small <br /> coamercial businesses, including an auto repair shop located east <br /> of the site, across South El Dorado Street.
