<br /> On March 29, 1989 , Jim lhorpe Oil , Inc. performed an annual Tank �
<br /> System lightness test on a 1 , 000 gallon underground gasoline storage
<br /> tank located at 6215 Tam O Shanter Drive, Stochton , California- The
<br /> tanh tested satisfactorily, but a collar leak was noted in the
<br /> product line , which was bled down and capped o+ f prior to the test'
<br /> On June B, 1989, Jim Thorpe Oil , Inc . fz1ed a Fermanent C] osure/ \ ank �
<br /> Removal Plan to the SJLHD for the above referenced tank ' The plan /
<br /> |
<br /> was approved , with conditions , on July 7 , 1989. Required soil tests �
<br /> specified by Lhe SJLHD were BTX&E, TFH-6 , EDB, and TEL. (R8fyr to |

<br /> On JuIy 12, 1989 , Jim [horpe Oil removed the UST and appro zmately
<br /> 25 cubic yards of spoIl ' A stronq gasoline odor was rioted , and
<br /> discolored soil was observed at the west end of the e cavatzon near |

<br /> the pump island and fill end of the tanh ' Samples were taken at the
<br /> east and west end of the tan| 8ppro: zmatelv i2 below ground le.ei ,

<br /> F. ) Samples were collected in brass tubes by Canonze Laboratory
