The report proposed a second
phase re-excavation of the former tank pit. Due to the residual
levels of petroleum hydrocarbon contamination at 21 feet (F.G.L.
Environmental Report of January 23, 1990 ) , further investigation
must be performed to determine the vertical and horizontal extent
of contamination prior to further soil removal .
A work plan for borings and/or groundwater monitoring wells
should be submitted to this office by July 16, 1990 . After
approval of the work plan and issuance of permits, site
activities may proceed.
If you have any further questions regarding this matter, contact
Harlan Knoll, REHS, of my staff at ( 209 ) 468-3455.
Jogi Khanna, M.D. , M.P.H.
ealth Of icer
Laurie A.
