2 Soil sample intervals will be taken at the approximate depths <br /> listed below <br /> LOCATION "A" (Hammertown) - 20 ' , 25 ' , 30 ' , & 35 ' <br /> LOCATION "B" (Normae) - 5 ' intervals from 10 ' to 40 ' bgl , or <br /> deeper if evidence of contamination is noted <br /> 3 A portion of each cored interval will be screened with a <br /> calibrated PID meter & readings recorded Another portion of the <br /> core will be promptly sealed, labeled, and placed on .ice pending <br /> transport to FGL Environmental for analysis <br /> 4 Drill cuttings & unused core material will be placed in <br /> suitable metal drums , sealed , labeled, and stored on location <br /> pending results of laboratory analysis <br /> 5 If sufficient flights are not available to complete both <br /> holes , they will be thoroughly decontaminated prior to being <br /> reused <br /> 7 All work will be under the direct supervision of Wm Hunter, <br /> RG, from Wm J Hunter & Associates <br /> 8 Soil samples collected for analysis will be prepared and <br /> preserved according to WJH & Assoc standard field protocol <br /> 9 Upon completion of drilling operations, each hole will be <br /> grouted to the surface with a cement/bentonite slurry, using a <br /> tremae pipe or flexible hose to insure a solid column <br /> 10 Samples will be transported to FGL Environmental under <br /> proper chain of custody, with instructions to analyze for BTEX, <br /> (EPA 8020 , ) and TPH--G, (EPA 8015M ) <br /> 11 Upon receipt and analysis of the laboratory results , a <br /> detailed report will be prepared and submitted to the San Joaquin <br /> County PHS Environmental Health Division for review & response <br /> 12 Work can be scheduled as soon as approval has been received <br /> and rig availability is determined.
