Report on Additional Site Assessment 9
7-Eleven Inc.,Store#19976, 1399 N.Main St.,Manteca,California March 5,2001
The summary of recent and historical soil analytical data indicates that the lateral and vertical extent of
the soil hydrocarbon plume has been sufficiently delineated. No further assessment is considered to be
warranted. Soil gas survey data indicates a low-concentration source near the western side of the
underground storage tank area.
4.3 Results of Groundwater Monitoring/Analyses
Table 3 and Figures 3/3A summarize the laboratory analytical results,of groundwater samples
collected from monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-6 through October, 2000. Dissolved hydrocarbon
concentrations ranged up to 2,000 pg/L benzene,42,000 pg/L TPH-G, and 1,100 pg/L MTBE,with
highest concentrations (except for MTBE) observed in source area well MW-2. Shallow downgradient
well MW-5 contained levels of 12 ug/L benzene, 550 ug/L TPH-G, and 470 ug/L MTBE,while wells
MW-5A and MW-6 contained low to non-detectable concentrations. Copies of the analytical reports
and chain-of-custody forms are included in Appendix D.
19976.4SA
I
